Maynooth Furniture was one of the two online projects I had to complete while taking an online course of ‘Prototyping with Adobe XD’. The requirement was to design a dynamic prototype for an online furniture store. Login/signup information, store locator, ability to add an item to the cart, product page with detailed description, contacts page and testimonials were required as well. The target audience was mainly considered middle aged women from the middle class. Both desktop and mobile versions of the prototype are available with some differences and experimental elements. All the buttons (except for the footer) are clickable, including the “store locator” and “my account” icons, the logo, all the list view pictures, the “i” information icon on the product page, and the “home”, “living room”, and “contact” items on the navigation bar. I also added a touch of animation to the mobile page, which is reachable by clicking on the store locator icon on the mobile version.
